Kristen Speaker is a board-certified Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her Nurse Practitioner degree in 2017 through the University of Nebraska Medical Center and her undergraduate degree in 2003 from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Prior to obtaining her degree as a Nurse Practitioner, Kristen worked for fifteen years as a registered nurse. She worked for nine of these years in an intensive care setting and six of these years in a pediatric setting. Kristen’s areas of specialty include developmental and behavioral pediatrics. She specializes in working with children with Autism and developmental delays, pediatric sleep medicine, ADHD, pediatric trauma, and other pediatric psychiatric disorders. She also provides pediatric primary care, and she can see patients for well visits and sick visits along with behavior management.
Kristen is originally from Lincoln and has three children. She enjoys being a mother and is busy outside of work with her children’s activities. Both of her boys play soccer and her daughter does competitive gymnastics.
