Project Description


Dr. Basnett is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist providing mental health services for people of all ages. She has provided clinical services in a variety of settings, including community mental health, university diagnostic center, public school system, and the Nebraska Juvenile Justice System. She has experience conducting psychological, psychoeducational, social security disability, and court-ordered evaluations.

Dr. Basnett works with individuals with a variety of presenting concerns, including mood and anxiety disorders, severe and persistent mental illness, impulse control disorders, behavioral issues, life transitions, women’s issues, trauma, and loss/grief. She uses a variety of evidenced-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). Dr. Basnett utilizes a person-centered approach by offering support, guidance, and respect for the courage it takes to pursue change. She believes each person has unique experiences and strengths that can be built upon to empower and foster resiliency. She strives to provide care that is tailored to each individual within a welcoming environment.

Dr. Basnett is a Nebraska native and enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, playing golf, and attending local performing arts and sporting events.
