Dr. Griffin conducts a variety of psychological assessments for children, adolescents and adults. Additionally, she provides individual and couples’ therapy. Dr. Griffin graduated from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL with a Doctoral Degree and Master of Science in clinical psychology. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in general psychology at Montclair State University in Upper Montclair, NJ. Dr. Griffin has training and experience in assessing and treating trauma/abuse survivors, individuals diagnosed with severe/persistent mental illness, individuals diagnosed with personality disorders and individuals dually-diagnosed with mental illness and Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD).
Dr. Griffin was previously employed with OMNI Behavioral Health as a clinical supervisor and licensed psychologist for Intensive Treatment Mobility Services (ITMS) with Greater Nebraska and Extended Family Homes (EFH). She was employed with the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services’ (DHHS) Division of Developmental Disabilities as a licensed psychologist. Dr. Griffin has been a speaker on numerous occasions regarding autism spectrum disorders, dual-diagnosis of MI and I/DD, empirically-supported treatments and applied behavioral analysis (ABA).
In her free time, Dr. Griffin enjoys cooking and trying new restaurants, watching movies and TV, going to live music events and spending time with friends and family.
