Dr. Guenzel performs diagnostic evaluations and provides medication management. He obtained a master’s degree in psychiatric nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2010 and a PhD in nursing from the same university in 2015.  Dr. Guenzel has presented at a number of regional and national conferences. Additionally,  he earned a Bachelor of Science degree through the Accelerated Nursing Program at Virginia Commonwealth University where he graduated cum laude in December 2007.  He worked for three years as an inpatient psychiatry nurse and also has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and recently accepted a faculty position at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.  He is an exclusive provider for Alivation’s telehealth services.  Outside of work, Dr. Guenzel enjoys spending time with his wife and their triplets.
